Jonathan Franco, M.D.

A Colorado native, Dr. Franco is one of the Rocky Mountain Region’s most experienced gynecologic laparoscopic surgeons specializing in Minimally Invasive-Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. He is, in fact, a leading instructor in teaching laparoscopic techniques to other physicians. Dr. Franco’s warm and caring demeanor are clearly present in all aspects of his medical care, and is also reflected through his volunteer efforts, which include the Winter Park Ski Patrol. He also is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying mountain biking, road biking and spending ample time with his two teenage children. Dr. Franco is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Franco attended the University of Colorado Medical School after completing his undergraduate at Oral Roberts University. He completed his residency in obstetrics/gynecology in Phoenix, Arizona at Maricopa County Hospital and St. Josephs Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ob/Gyn and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also affiliated with the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, the North American Menopausal Society and the Colorado Medical Society.

 

 

Rickie Guida, WHNP-BC

Also a Colorado native, Rickie brings 33 years of experience as a medical professional to her position as nurse practitioner at Columbine Women’s Care. During that time she has specialized as a nurse practitioner for more than 13 years after working for 14 years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Swedish Medical Center and for six years at Denver Health Medical Center. Rickie’s fun-loving personality makes her a favorite among patients as does her experience and expertise in helping individuals with PCOS and interstitial cystitis. In addition to nursing, Rickie’s passions include scrap-booking and visiting with her son in Washington, DC, and her daughter in California. She received her nursing degree from Regis University in Colorado.

Katherine Tiedt Windle, WHNP

As a nurse practitioner, Katherine brings a distinctively warm communication style that allows patients to feel comfortable and confident discussing their health goals and concerns. She emphasizes listening to and partnering with patients and specializes in patient education, preventative care, adolescent gynecology and contraception. Also a Colorado native and mother of two active children, Katherine enjoys skiing, mountain biking and hiking. She earned her master’s degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences in 2004 after receiving her her nursing degree from Regis University. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific and the University of Colorado.
