GYNECOLGIC ULTRASOUND—3D

In all aspects of patient care, we utilize today’s most advanced and proven medical resources to deliver precise diagnoses and treatment recommendations.

Used for both general obstetrics and gynecological care, our 3D gynecologic ultrasound is a valuable tool that allows us to view and assess progress of the fetus during pregnancies as well as to identify and diagnose conditions of the kidney, liver and other internal organs. Similar to traditional ultrasound technology, the gynecologic ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. However, rather than display these images as thin, flat sections of the body, the more advanced 3D ultrasound converts the sound wave data into more detailed three-dimensional images. Captured in real time, these images reveal the structure and movement of a developing fetus as well as internal organs and even blood flow within veins and arteries. This technology does not involve the use of any radiation and is generally a painless procedure for patients.
